About Me ~ Mrs. Jenkins
"The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery." - Mark Fan Doren
Making a difference through the eyes of a child is so very important to me. Watching students gain confidence and make connections is my favorite thing to witness! I have a wide variety of teaching experiences and look forward to sharing this year with your children!

- I am thrilled to be starting my second year at Patton, now as a first grade teacher in District 25. I'm looking forward to a fun-filled year of learning with my students!
A Little Bit About Me:
I love spending time with my husband Shawn, children Caylie (18), Ryan (16) and Brady (11.) I love watching them do what they love. They enjoy dance, baseball, basketball and traveling. We have a dog named Maisie who is the baby of the family. Teaching and creating new student learning opportunities is my passion but I also enjoy watching live music, traveling and time outdoors! I live in Barrington.
